Really fancy place for a date or anniversary celebration! Great service and loved their food! Wish there were more vegetarian options too!

This was a sweet surprise. The food was phenomenal. Everything was delicious from the sweet potatoes to the fried rice to the salmon. Service was great. Very clean and exquisite aesthetics. I had a really good experience and cannot wait to go back.

This was my first time here and I'm so mad I didn't take pictures! I was there via an app to have dinner with 5 strangers and got so caught up in meeting and chatting with everyone I totally forgot. Anyway ... They have valet parking for $15 and some street parking available. Located in Minneapolis, it's easy to get to but does have steps to enter. Inside is a gorgeous, warm, inviting dining area with white linen table cloths and an art gallery on the walls. Our server was excellent and I don't recall her name but she had beautiful red hair, so you know who you are. One thing I truly appreciated her for was she waited to clear plates until everyone had finished. That's so important so that slower diners don't end up eating alone when all the other plates are gone. They offer a creative cocktail menu as well as a N/A selection of mocktails, and an excellent wine list. We ordered bread for the table and were given a fresh, hot loaf of sliced bread with fresh butter and an olive oil/balsamic dip. That was my favorite part because I love olive oil on warm bread. The salad options are very creative and appealing but I knew I wanted more than salad, so I had the Korean Barbecue Salmon on black rice with a ginger/scallion condiment. The salmon was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. It had a crust that added a spicy crunch and elevated the dish. I was surprised at the spiciness of the black rice until I remembered, ginger! No surprise, I scraped my plate. One of my companions ordered mini donuts for dessert and she got about a dozen so we each tried them and they were like Minnesota State Fair mini donuts, warm and delightful, cinnamon-sugary and perfect. Overall I would absolutely return because there are so many dishes I would love to try. Highly recommend!

This was my first time visiting the Lurcat in a year or so and it's always a nice visit. Our food was amazing per usual. We ordered tuna carpaccio and crab croquettes. The carpaccio was full of flavor and platted beautifully! The croquettes were always quite good but nothing I'd get again personally. We sat out on the patio and really enjoyed how spacious it is! Our waiter seemed to be newer to serving and it took away from the experience slightly. He didn't seem to be well informed on the menu or even know what to recommend with confidence. We were a bit disappointed that not much seems to change on the menu. Both of us have visited this restaurant multiple times over the years and it seems only a couple things change out. Overall it's still a place I love to go to but I'd like to see the menu refresh more!

My second time here, this time for restaurant week! I started off with the steak tartare, which was pretty good. I also tried the apple cheese and chive, which was fun to try as part of the courses but I personally wouldn't order again as a full appetizer as it's literally just apples and cheese (tasty as a snack though!). The star of the show was the potato gnocchi. Truly incredible flavors and fluffy gnocchi made it one of my top 3 dishes in the twin cities. I will absolutely be back for that. Our server was great and the whole restaurant feels like it could be in Manhattan!

We attended a Sunday afternoon wedding here and I was so impressed! Everything was delicious, the service was phenomenal and setting is beautiful. The miso sea bass was so tasty; it was cooked to perfection. The apple & cheese salad was different, which I like. The other standouts were the desserts. My daughter tried every one. I had to be more selective with my stomach capacity and calories, but that pistachio macaron the red velvet was also spectacular. I like macarons a lot and most are just good, but these ones are must try!

Sophisticated french cafe/bar near downtown Minneapolis. We sat outside and the decor is set up like you're on a french garden. We arrived during happy hour and were told dinner menu was not offered until 5pm. We ordered Lurcat Fries, Artisanal cheese platter, Lurçat burgers (skiders)), hummus & flatbread. At 5pm we ordered the chilean seabass. There is something for everyone! Great place to mer somene

Did the Pre Fix Sunday dinner and the food was phenomenal. Had the Chicory Salad which had a nice balance of citrus with warm spices. For my main, the Korean BBQ Glazed Salmon was unique and flavorful. We also had the Sweet Potatoes as a side which are absolutely luscious and decadent while still being light. For dessert, I had the ice cream which rounded out the meal really well.

Excellent dinner at Cafe Lurcat during restaurant week! The atmosphere is gorgeous and inviting. The quality of food matches the fine dining experience. We started off with the Wagyu steak tartare and the corned beef tongue. Both were tender and seasoned perfectly. For our main entrées, we ordered the Amish chicken and the pork chop. Our main dish order took a little longer than expected. Our waitress informed us that a large party (20 people!) was in front of our order, so she offered us a side dish to accompany our main meals and we added the sweet potatoes. The main entrées were well done -- chicken was beautifully carved and presented. The skin was tasty. The black rice and sauce were nice compliments to the meat. The pork chop was a beautiful, thick cut of meat. We ordered it medium and it may have been ever so slightly cooked a little under medium. Seasoning was perfect and had a nice, tart flavor coming through with the sauerkraut. WOW! The sweet potatoes were the star of the evening! Sweet, savory, bright and fresh with lemon, crispy skins... just wow! Order the sweet potatoes!! For dessert, we ordered the chocolate panna cotta and olive oil cake. Both were absolutely stunning and would fit right in at any patisserie! Excellent flavors, textures, and presentation! Faultless! I'll definitely be coming back!

I visited Cafe Lurcat during a work trip and had a wonderful experience. Working with the staff to book a private room was seamless and easy! The private room we had was a great location and very spacious! We all were standing up and chatting prior to our seated dinner and there was plenty of space for our large group! We started by ordering many different appetizers to try. I tried the bread service, ginger friend rice, Chicory Salad, and steak tartare. My favorite was the salad and fried rice! Once we were seated I ordered the Herb Tagliatelle which was delicious! I think next time I would get the burger or a steak since those also looked so good! The wine selection was also very extensive! At the end we ordered a few different dessert to pass around which were also a hit! I highly recommend this restaurant for business or personal meals!
